Cohesive website design aligned with a sister restaurant brand
An updated, image-driven site that reflects Homestead’s unique logo and colors while maintaining brand consistency.
Project Overview
Homestead Pizza & Bowling is owned by the same team behind Papa’s Pizza Parlor. After redesigning the Papa’s Pizza website with a modern, photo-focused layout, the owners wanted the Homestead Pizza & Bowling site to follow the same structural approach. The goal was to create brand cohesion across businesses while tailoring the experience to Homestead’s logo, colors, and personality.
My Role
Website Design (contractor)
Design Strategy & Improvements
Using the established framework from Papa’s Pizza, the new Homestead site incorporates:
- Larger, more prominent food photography
- A modern layout built for durability and future updates
- Clear visual hierarchy for easier browsing
- An updated software foundation for long-term stability
The previous site relied on smaller images that didn’t fully showcase the food. By introducing larger, more inviting visuals, the new design better highlights how appealing the pizzas look — creating a more engaging and appetizing experience for visitors.
Brand Cohesion Across Businesses
While the structure mirrors the sister company’s site, Homestead’s branding is distinct:
- Custom color palette
- Unique logo integration
- Location-specific content
- Individual personality within a shared framework
This approach strengthened brand consistency while allowing each restaurant to stand confidently on its own.
Impact
The result is a cohesive online presence across related businesses, reinforcing brand recognition while presenting Homestead Pizza & Bowling with its own modern, welcoming identity.
