Welcome to Sink Web Design
Greetings and Salutations!
(Bonus points if you recognize the random 80’s movie reference*)
Like most journeys in life, this site’s going to be an ever-evolving work-in-progress, made better through experience, good communication and fun collaboration with YOU. (Whoo!)
Simply put: I’m delighted you’re here.
(In fact, I’d do cartwheels if I could, but I can’t. Seriously. It’s not pretty.)
Take a look around, and let me know if you have any questions. Here’s a little site info to get you started.
Let’s Get Real:
What does it take to get a website made?
Blood, sweat, a few tears… and a vat of hot chocolate. Maybe some pie.
(Except for the part about the hot chocolate and pie. Because… YUM.)
If you want numbers, we’ve got numbers, over on the What It Costs page. It’s a helpful starting point, but those numbers only tell part of the story. Why?
1) Every website setup is unique, and a package price lists general options you may or may not need. 2) It doesn’t begin to touch on all the necessary elements that help make your site more professional, consistent and accessible (parts you may not know to include if you’re trying to do it yourself). And 3) We like to talk with you first, get to know your exact needs and customize a quote that works for you, your business and your budget. We’d love to help make things easier for you.
Get To Know Me First
I’m a web designer, writer and detail-oriented night owl who enjoys singing, reading mysteries and other fiction, and studying creative new ways to approach web design. There’s always more to learn, and I want to do the best job that I can.
Want to learn more about me, or Sherry Sink Web Design as a company? Hop over to my About page.
Read more about the services we offer and see if we’re a good fit for collaborating on your project via the What We Do page.
Browse some of the work we’ve done (so far) in the Portfolio, and check back for updates, because new websites and project case studies are in the works!
Have a Question? Just Ask!
Over on the Blog page, we’d like to build a creative space where everyone and anyone can join in, ask questions, and kindly share thoughts and advice. You never know who might read your words and benefit from your knowledge and experience.
And since we’re just getting started over there, if there’s a topic you’d like to see covered in the blog, pop over to our Ask a Question page and request away!
The more we understand what’s most needed,
the more we can connect and help.
*What was the 80’s movie reference from the top of the page? It’s that wonderfully warped, dark humor cult movie classic Heathers, starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater.
